Ford Motor Company at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show today extended its line-up of vehicles to reveal new sporty, dynamic and high specification vehicles for Europe.

Ford’s all-new Focus RS makes its global public debut today at the Geneva Motor Show. The high-performance road car pioneers the innovative Ford Performance All-Wheel-Drive system, and delivers class-leading cornering speed, thrilling performance and unbridled driving enjoyment. The all-new Focus RS also introduces advanced performance technologies, and is the first Ford RS equipped with selectable Drive Modes – including an industry-first Drift Mode – and Launch Control.

Ford Motor Company powered into the 2015 Geneva Motor Show with its most technologically advanced performance model range ever, including the global motor show debut of the all-new Ford Focus RS high-performance hatchback, and the European premiere of the all-new Ford GT supercar. Revealed with the help of F1 legend Johnny Herbert, these exciting new models lined up on the Ford stand alongside the new Focus ST – available with a performance diesel engine for the first time – the highly acclaimed Fiesta ST, and the all-new Ford Mustang.

Ford Motor Company will reveal the all-new Focus RS high performance hatchback for the first time at a motor show, and debut the all-new Ford GT supercar in Europe, at the 2015 Geneva show. Ford will also present its full Ford Performance line-up for Europe including the new Focus ST and Focus ST diesel, and Fiesta ST. In addition the new Ford Mustang Fastback and Convertible will be on view to showgoers.

Ford Motor Company announced a significant new collaboration to develop manufacturing innovations in automotive-grade carbon fibre for use in future products. Ford and DowAksa are accelerating joint research to develop high-volume manufacturing techniques – aiming to make vehicles lighter for greater fuel efficiency, performance and capability.

Driven by strong customer demand for its new vehicles – including the all-new Mondeo now being rolled out to Ford dealerships across Europe – Ford’s sales and market share in Europe continued to grow in January.
